Addendum
We have received the following note from Mr David Land:
Past and Present January 2006 page 9
"bought by an American company and called Pikrose Engineering........ this should read " Pikrose and Co Ltd."
The American company were called the Marmon group and they retained ownership until circa 1991.
When they sold out in 1991 it was to a Lancaster based group and it was then re named "Pikrose Engineering", as the name on the electrical sub station on Delta Road.
